Cloud Backups
As a Sunday Keys user, you may have spent hours dialing the perfect Sounds and Patches to use with your team. An important part of your keys rig is ensuring that you can recover your work in the event that something unexpected may happen. Cloud Backups is a feature of the Sunday Keys App that allows active Sunday Keys License holders to create and restore backups of their Sunday Keys App experience.
A Cloud Backup will maintain your saved Sets, customized Patches and Sounds in your User Library, and customized FX Presets.
Using Cloud Backups
To open the Cloud Backups, open the Menu then select Cloud Backups. You will find an intuitive interface that lets you setup automatic backups, create a manual backup, and restore your existing backups.
Automatic Backups
Setting up Automatic Backups is simple. Enable the toggle to "Automatically backup my library", then set the desired frequency. The Automatic Backup will be created when the App is first opened on that day.
Creating a Manual Backup
Similarly, creating a manual Backup is also simple. Click the "New Backup", then provide a name for your Backup.
Click "Save Backup" to initiate the Backup process. You'll notice a progress bar to indicate the Backup's progress.
Once complete, the new backup will show in the list of Backups.
Restore a Backup
To restore a Backup, select the Backup from the list, then click "Restore Backup". You'll be asked to confirm that you want to perform this action. Click "Restore Backup" again to continue.
The Sunday Keys App will display the main splash screen image during the restore process. When complete, the Sunday Keys App will reload the Set loaded at time of the restored Backup.
