Logic Pro X is an incredibly powerful DAW that can stand up right alongside ProTools, Studio One, etc. Before Logic was acquired by Apple it used to be just as expensive and high end as Pro Tools. The only reason it's now priced so much more affordably is because Apple treats it as a loss leader to sell more Mac hardware.
