My sustain pedal is not working in Ableton Live

Generally sustain pedal issues in Ableton Live are the result of the "Remote" setting being "On" for your MIDI Keyboard. You can turn this off by going to Live > Preferences > Link MIDI

That should stop the sustain pedal from switching scenes/clips. It should also allow it to only function as a sustain pedal.
