Flex Routing: send Sounds to multiple outputs
Applies to: Sunday Keys App (iPad & Mac)
Flex Routing lets you send different types of Sounds to different outputs on your audio interface. For example, you can send pads to one pair of outputs and your piano to another, so your sound team can mix them separately.
By default, the App sends everything to outputs 1 and 2. If your audio interface has more outputs, you can route by Sound type (such as Pads, Bass or Tonic).
Set it up:
- Connect your audio interface.
- Tap Menu (the three lines in the top right), then Settings, then the Flex Routing tab.
- For each Sound type, choose the outputs you want.
Your choices are saved for that audio interface, so they come back automatically the next time you connect it.
Only need Keys and Tonic split? Set Keys Output Pan and Tonic Output Pan to opposite sides (Mono L and Mono R) in Settings > Audio. This works even on a two-output interface.
How many outputs can I use? Standard Licenses support up to 10 audio outputs. Ultimate and All Access support up to 64.
Recommended interface: Track Rig by Loop Community has 8 XLR outputs and a built-in USB hub.
