Live Sequences

Press a bass note and a Live Sequence plays a melodic pattern made for modern worship.

Find them: in Patch Builder, choose the Live Sequences category in any of the four main sections. For ready-made Patches that use them, open Layered Worship Patches > Sort by Lead Instrument > Live Sequences Driven.
Set the key: the same way as Easy Chord. Click and drag, or swipe with two fingers, on the key display.
Play low: they respond only to notes in a low range, which varies by sequence. The range shifts with the key you choose, even though the onscreen layer range doesn't change.
Tempo: they follow your Patch or concert tempo. See Metronome, click and tempo.

Not every note in the range plays? That's by design. Each sequence spans an octave plus extra room so it can move to any key. In C, the C, D, E, F, G, A and B notes play.

Live Grooves

Find them: choose the Live Grooves category in any section, including the Extra section. For ready-made Patches, open Sort by Lead Instrument > Live Grooves Driven.
Play them: the first bass note you press in the range starts the groove. It keeps playing until you let go of all bass notes in the range and release the sustain pedal.
Play one bass note at a time. Two at once can double the pattern, which is why the range is narrow. To change it, select the channel strip and adjust High and Low in the Layer Editor tab.
Tempo: they follow your Patch or concert tempo too.
