Sunday Keys for MainStage quick answers

Can I change Patches from OnSong? Yes. Set OnSong to send a MIDI program change, then give each Patch the matching program change number in its Attributes tab in MainStage. OnSong can help with the setup on their side.

I hear a "gunshot" when I change Patches. That's MainStage's Tape Delay reacting to a tempo change. Turn the delay down before you switch, or give the next Patch the same tempo.

Why are there so many plugins on each channel strip? Most are Gain plugins that balance levels, plus the effects tied to the onscreen modifiers. They're very light on CPU, so removing them won't noticeably help performance.
