Find and use the Layered Worship Patches in Sunday Keys

Sunday Keys comes with more than 100 ready-to-play layered Patches. They're the fastest way to find great sounds for live worship.

Browse the Patches

1. Click + at the top right of the Patch List to add a new Patch, and select it.
2. In the Inspector, open the Patch Library tab, then User Patches > Patch Builder - Sunday Keys > Layered Worship Patches.
3. Pick a way to browse:
   • Go-to Sunday Keys Patches: the same Patches your concert opened with.
   • Sort by Song Tempo and Feel: curated Patches for each kind of song.
   • Sort by Lead Instrument: Patches that feature the instrument you choose.
   • View All Layered Patches.
4. Click a Patch name to load it. Click others, or use the arrow keys, to audition as many as you like.

Make it yours

1. Use the section faders and modifiers to shape the sound. For example, pull down a sound that starts too strong.
2. Press Command-S to save the settings to the Patch. If you don't, it goes back to its defaults next time.
3. Double-click the Patch's name to rename it. Many players name each Patch after the song they'll use it for.
4. Save it to the browser so you can find it again. See Save, export and keep your Patches.

Swap one sound in a layered Patch

1. Take a screenshot of the Patch so you can see each sound and its modifier settings.

2. Rebuild it in Patch Builder with the sound you want instead. Find sounds in each section folder's View All, or press Command-F to search. Don't change modifiers yet.
3. Once it's combined, set the modifiers to match your screenshot, then adjust by ear.

Why are there only about 20 Patches in my concert?

On purpose. Your concert should hold only the Patches you need for a service, so we start you with our 20 most versatile Go-to Patches. Hundreds more are in Patch Builder.

Can't find Patch Builder

1. Check Finder. The installer puts Patch Builder - Sunday Keys and Sunday Keys - Concerts in Music > MainStage. Search Spotlight for "MainStage" to find the folder quickly, and add it to your Finder sidebar. No Patch Builder there? Run the installer again from My Purchases on SundaySounds.com.

2. Show the Inspector: choose View > Show Inspectors (Command-5).
3. Show User Patches: click the gear at the top right of the Patch Library and check Show User Settings.

Your MainStage folder in Finder and User Patches in MainStage always match.

Labels missing after combining Patches

This is a MainStage bug. Use our Fixer Patch:

1. Download the Fixer Patch from the Sunday Keys resource page and put it in Music > MainStage.
2. Add the Fixer Patch above the Patch you want to fix.
3. Select the Fixer Patch, Command-click the other Patch, then click the gear and choose New Patch from Selected Patches.
4. Rename the new Patch, then delete the old Patch and the Fixer Patch.

Now you can combine the new Patch with others and the labels will appear.

Where's Euphoria Pad?

It's been replaced by a much wider range of pads. Look in the Shimmer Pads category of Patch Builder.
